If you were a Sex and the City fan, you might wonder what your favorite stars are doing today. Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte in the hit show, travelled to Africa as a volunteer with Oxfam.
On her travels, she visited the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which I have frequently featured here for the tremendous work they do to save elephants. Kristin was amazed by the organization, and heartbroken by the elephants’ stories. She decided she needed to do something more to help raise awareness.
She personally financed and directed “Gardeners of Eden”, a fascinating documentary released in 2014. She wanted to show the whole story, and was apprehensive but grateful to include a poacher’s perspective in the film.
Today, Kristin continues to be a big supporter of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and speaks out regularly on behalf of elephants and conservation.
